La experiencia visual juega un papel importante en la maduraci\u00f3n y desarrollo de la corteza visual, especialmente en el periodo cr\u00edtico.  el presente trabajo estudia el desarrollo de la vascularizaci\u00f3n de la corteza visual y su principal factor trofico el vegf en relaci\u00f3n a la experiencia comprando ratas criadas en oscuridad, ratas criadas en oscuridad en un entorno enriquecido y ratas criadas en un entorno enriquecido. Se ha estudiado la densidad vascular (mediante la lectina lea), la maduraci\u00f3n de la barrera hematoencef\u00e1lica (con los ant\u00edgenos de barrera eva y glut-1) y la expresi\u00f3n del vegf durante el desarrollo postnatal. Los principales resultados indican una mayor densidad vascular del grupo del entorno  enriquecido que aparece a partir del periodo cr\u00edtico y un retraso en la maduraci\u00f3n del patr\u00f3n vascular en los dos grupos de cr\u00eda en oscuridad. Todo ello est\u00e1 relacionado con un aumento de la expresi\u00f3n del vegf en el grupo del entorno enriquecido. Por otro lado, el desarrollo de la barrera hematoencef\u00e1lica no guarda relaci\u00f3n alguna con los distintos entornos empleados. La ausencia de experiencia visual origina un descenso en la actividad cortical que induce un descenso en la densidad vascular y retraso de la maduraci\u00f3n del patr\u00f3n vascular y en cambio un aumento de est\u00edmulos origina un aumento  de la actividad con el consecuente proceso de angiog\u00e9nesis para satisfacer las demandas de la nueva situaci\u00f3n<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
