Los experimentos se realizaron con part\u00edculas menores a la micra, pero \u00e9stos pueden extenderse, cualitativamente, a part\u00edculas de mayor di\u00e1metro. Los cambios qu\u00edmicos producidos en las part\u00edculas (inserci\u00f3n de grupos oxigenados o clorados) se han identificado y relacionado con la modificaci\u00f3n de alguna propiedad fisicoqu\u00edmica de las part\u00edculas (energ\u00eda de enlace part\u00edcula \/ part\u00edcula o estabilidad en suspensiones l\u00edquidas). Los experimentos realizados a lo largo de esta tesis permitir\u00e1n, en el futuro,  el desarrollo de  nuevos campos de aplicaci\u00f3n industrial para la fotoqu\u00edmica en la regi\u00f3n del ultravioleta de vac\u00edo. tres sistemas de aerosoles distintos han sido estudiados experimentalmente. Por la composici\u00f3n qu\u00edmica del aerosol los podr\u00edamos clasificar seg\u00fan: &#8211; un aerosol de material org\u00e1nico con alta presi\u00f3n de vapor  que muestra tendencia a la evaporaci\u00f3n (antraceno). El uso de la radiaci\u00f3n uvv en la funcionalizaci\u00f3n de part\u00edculas con alta presi\u00f3n de vapor no fue factible. Las part\u00edculas de antraceno eran parcialmente evaporadas y oxidadas. La oxidaci\u00f3n del antraceno se produc\u00eda en fase vapor y era seguida por una condensaci\u00f3n heterog\u00e9nea de los productos de reacci\u00f3n. Los productos de reacci\u00f3n (con mayor presi\u00f3n de vapor que el antraceno) condensaban sobre las part\u00edculas originales y en nuevos n\u00facleos de condensaci\u00f3n  (aerosol secundario). &#8211; un aerosol de material polim\u00e9rico (poliestireno) en una atm\u00f3sfera \u00abnormal\u00bb (aire). La irradiaci\u00f3n de part\u00edculas polim\u00e9ricas en aerosoles es un sistema \u00fatil para modificarlas qu\u00edmicamente.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
