Entre los diagn\u00f3sticos que existen en el dispositivo de fusi\u00f3n tj-ii, instalado en el ciemat, el haz supers\u00f3nico de helio permite conocer simult\u00e1neamente los perfiles de densidad y temperatura electr\u00f3nicas en el borde del plasma. El diagn\u00f3stico est\u00e1 basado en la medida de los perfiles radiales de intensidad de determinadas l\u00edneas de emisi\u00f3n, procedentes de estados excitados de los \u00e1tomos de helio por impacto electr\u00f3nico, y la posterior comparaci\u00f3n de los cocientes de dichas l\u00edneas con los valores te\u00f3ricos obtenidos mediante un modelo colisonal-radiativo para el helio. La parte principal del trabajo ha consistido en realizar estudios de dicho modelo colisonal-radiativo. Se han identificado las posibles fuentes de error as\u00ed como su impacto en los perfiles de densidad y temperatura electr\u00f3nicas reconstruidos con el diagn\u00f3stico. Adem\u00e1s se ha propuesto diversos m\u00e9todos para corregir algunos de estos errores. La aportaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s significativa de este trabajo a la parte experimental del diagnostico ha sido la puesta a punto del haz supers\u00f3nico de helio con una frecuencia de repetici\u00f3n de hasta 200 hz, lo cual ha permitido obtener la evoluci\u00f3n temporal de los principales par\u00e1metros del borde del plasma.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
