Con este fin, se ha realizado un estudio experimental de laboratorio antes de efectuar un futuro tratamiento en campo. Este estudio incluye un experimento de lixiviaci\u00f3n de cenizas volantes y experimentos de flujo cont\u00ednuo, para comprender el comportamiento de ambos materiales por separado bajo condiciones de lixiviaci\u00f3n. Posteriormente, se presenta una serie de experimentos en columnas saturadas y no saturadas para simular la oxidaci\u00f3n del lodo y la producci\u00f3n de drenaje \u00e1cido de minas (amd), y para evaluar el efecto de la adici\u00f3n de cenizas volantes en tales procesos. definitivamente, la adici\u00f3n de cenizas volantes al lodo pir\u00edtico mostr\u00f3 una mejora en la calidad de los drenajes \u00e1cidos y el desarrollo de mecanismos (revestimientos f\u00e9rricos y formaci\u00f3n de un hardpan) que pueden prevenir la formaci\u00f3n de amd a largo plazo. La extrapolaci\u00f3n de estos experimentos al campo puede suponer la recuperaci\u00f3n de numerosos focos de contaminaci\u00f3n y la disminuci\u00f3n del aporte de contaminantes que se tranportan a
