En primer lugar, mediante una t\u00e9cnica extremadamente suave, conocida como gelificaci\u00f3n i\u00f3nica, ha sido posible preparar nanopart\u00edculas de \u00e1cido hialur\u00f3nico y quitosano, con propiedades adecuadas para ser administradas sobre la superficie del globo ocular. Adem\u00e1s, ha sido posible incorporar en dichas nanopart\u00edculas adn plasm\u00eddico de manera efectiva. En estudios in vitro, las nanopart\u00edculas han mostrado una elevada capacidad para ser internalizadas por c\u00e9lulas derivadas de los epitelios corneal y conjuntival humanos, dando lugar a elevados niveles de transfecci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica. Finalmente, los estudios in vivo demuestran no s\u00f3lo que las nanopart\u00edculas interaccionan de manera eficaz con los epitelios de la superficie ocular, sino tambi\u00e9n su manifiesta capacidad para transfectar de forma efectiva ambos tejidos. Por tanto, los resultados presentados en esta tesis representan la prueba de concepto del potencial de estas nanopart\u00edculas en terapia g\u00e9nica ocular.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
