Del Mar <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La biolog\u00eda de la anguila, junto con un enigm\u00e1tico ciclo de reproducci\u00f3n y situaci\u00f3n actual del stock cercana a la extinci\u00f3n hacen de esta especie un sujeto de estudio muy interesante. La presente tesis puede contribuir al desarrollo de estrategias para la conservaci\u00f3n para este importante grupo de tele\u00f3steos mediante la mejora del entendimiento de su ciclo reproductivo, pudiendo as\u00ed tener un impacto socio-econ\u00f3mico secundario. Tambi\u00e9n se estudi\u00f3 el papel de factores ambientales en el crecimiento y la reproducci\u00f3n, siendo \u00e9ste un factor fundamental para el cultivo artificial de la especie. La importancia de la comunicaci\u00f3n qu\u00edmica en vertebrados ha sido objeto de un creciente inter\u00e9s en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, prueba de ello es el incremento de publicaciones de alto impacto en revistas de prestigio.     el estudio consta de cinco cap\u00edtulos.
