En el primero se propone un nuevo metodo de analisis de fibra alimentaria que permite cuantificar las diversas fracciones de la misma por gravimetria, el metodo se ha probado sobre diez de semilla y de hollejo, mostrando una buena reproducibilidad en sus resultados en la segunda parte se aborda el estudio y la caracterizacion estructural de los polisacaridos que forman parte de las hemicelulosas y la celulosa de ambos materiales.  de las hemicelulosas de ambos materiales se han aislado ocho polisacaridos puros, cuatro de semilla y cuatro de hollejo, de los que se ha realizado su determinacion estructural.
