Por ello, el objetivo de este trabajo ha sido el estudio de los sistemas de transporte ubicados en estas membranas, en respuesta al estres salino.  el estres salino provoco una disminucion de la actividad del enzima h+ -atpasa de plasmalema, una estimulacion del transporte de protones asociado a los enzimas h+ -atpasa y h+ -ppasa de tonoplasto, asi como, una clara induccion de la actividad antiporte na+\/h+ de tonoplasto. Estos resultados se interpretan como cambios adaptativos de una planta como el girasol, moderadamente tolerante a altas concentraciones salinas, en la que los sistemas de transporte de h+ parecen
