As\u00ed, la presentaci\u00f3n de los componentes apropiados a la informaci\u00f3n con la cual se construye el conocimiento es muy importante en todos los niveles de ense\u00f1anza. Pero, cuando tratamos de la ense\u00f1anza superior, en que la informaci\u00f3n es mucho m\u00e1s amplia, esa adecuaci\u00f3n se torna imprescindible.  los objetivos principales de este estudio son por un lado construir y validar una software para el estudio de biolog\u00eda en la ense\u00f1anza superior. Y por otro, verificar la influencia de su utilizaci\u00f3n en cuanto a potenciar  y propiciar cuatro dimensiones: la motivaci\u00f3n, la estructuraci\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n, la facilidad de actualizaci\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n y control de aprendizaje.  En este estudio se pretendi\u00f3 mejorar procesos, relacionados con las cuatro dimensiones presentadas, y no resultados. esta investigaci\u00f3n se realiz\u00f3 sobre 483 alumnos que cursar\u00e1n licenciaturas en formaci\u00f3n de profesores y 27 professores del \u00e1rea de biolog\u00eda, en el instituto de estudios superiores de fafe. En concreto se toman en consideraci\u00f3n las calificaciones relativas a las asignaturas de gen\u00e9tica de los alumnos que cursan durante los a\u00f1os 1997 a 2002 en la escuela superior de educaci\u00f3n de fafe. Para llevar a cabo esta investigaci\u00f3n recogimos datos a trav\u00e9s de la t\u00e9cnica de encuestaci\u00f3n construyendo una serie de cuestionarios \u00abad hoc\u00bb como instrumentos.
