En esta tesis doctoral se explora esta alternativa en el campo de la calidad del suministro de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica.     como aportaci\u00f3n principal se presenta un nuevo m\u00e9todo de medida de arm\u00f3nicos e interarm\u00f3nicos basado en le transformada wavelet packet compatible con el est\u00e1ndar de medida iec 61000-4-7 de 2002. El m\u00e9todo propuesta utiliza un \u00e1rbol de descomposici\u00f3n wavelet, que en sus distintos niveles suministra la medida de arm\u00f3nicos e inter\u00e1rmonicos de la se\u00f1al, as\u00ed como su contenido subarm\u00f3nico e informaci\u00f3n de sus variaciones en el dominio temporal.     se exponen las caracter\u00edsticas principales del m\u00e9todo en cuanto a la elecci\u00f3n de la funci\u00f3n wavelet madre, el banco de filtros que implementa el \u00e1rbol de descomposici\u00f3n wavelet y el postprocesado que posibilita la compartibilidad con el est\u00e1ndar de medida. Se analizan las prestaciones del m\u00e9todo en la medida de arm\u00f3nicos e interarm\u00f3nicos, tanto en condiciones estacionarias como en el caso de p\u00e9rdida de sincron\u00eda por variaci\u00f3n de la frecuencia fundamental o variaci\u00f3n de la ventana de muestreo de la se\u00f1al, presencia de componentes no s\u00edncronas con la frecuencia de la red o presencia de componentes de amplitud variable. Por \u00faltimo, se expone la informaci\u00f3n que aporta el m\u00e9todo para la estimaci\u00f3n temporal de las componentes frecuenciales medidas. el m\u00e9todo desarrollado junto con el m\u00e9todo de iec se han implementado sobre un equipo electr\u00f3nico para adquisici\u00f3n y procesado de se\u00f1al utilizando t\u00e9cnicas de instrumentaci\u00f3n virtual.
