Su funci\u00f3n, el tipo celular en que se expresa y el ligando que presenta son desconocidos.     el objetivo de este trabajo es el dise\u00f1o de reactivos para avanzar en el conocimiento de esta mol\u00e9cula, y as\u00ed poder estudiar su localizaci\u00f3n y el ligando que presenta.     hemos obtenido diferentes l\u00edneas celulares que expresan mr1 completo y soluble. Este \u00faltimo ha sido purificado y se han generado antisueros de conejo frente a \u00e9l, que reconocen a la prote\u00edna mr1 en western-blot, citometr\u00eda de flujo e inmunohostoqu\u00edmica. Las l\u00edneas trasnfectadas con mr1 completo expresan altos niveles de mr1 en superficie, y son capaces de estimular el crecimiento de linfocitos mait primarios. Se ha detectado expresi\u00f3n de mr1 en superficie de l\u00edneas celulares linfoblastoides y en c\u00e9lulas b, concretamente blastos b o c\u00e9lulas plasm\u00e1ticas de la l\u00e1mina propia intestina, donde interacciona con c\u00e9lulas cd3+, las cuales podr\u00edan ser c\u00e9lulas de mr1. La expresi\u00f3n de mr1 en superficie se incrementa cuando las c\u00e9lulas son incubadas a 26\u00c2\u00bac posiblemente por una limitaci\u00f3n en el ligando que presenta.
