Los principales mecanismos moleculares que subyacen a los fen\u00f3menos de resistencia al tratamiento pertenecen a los sistemas de reparaci\u00f3n del adn. Hemos evaluado el papel de varios de los factores de los sistemas de reparaci\u00f3n del adn en la respuesta al tratamiento, as\u00ed como la posibilidad de emplear la medici\u00f3n de la expresi\u00f3n de sus arn mensajeros como marcadores pron\u00f3sticos. Hemos concluido que las expresiones en tejido tumoral de los arn mensajeros de los factores xpb, xrccl, dnapkcs y takl constituyen un panel de marcadores que pueden predecir la respuesta cl\u00ednica de los pacientes de cecc. Hemos encotrado relaci\u00f3n entre la presencia del polimorfismo q632q del gen xrccl y la tasa de supervivencia de estos pacientes y corroborado los trabajos ya publicados sobre la escasa tasa de
