Partiendo, pues, de la cuesti\u00f3n fundamental concerniente a la relaci\u00f3n entre las transferencias culturales y la musicolog\u00eda, el tropo del ordinario, una de las partes cambiantes dentro de la celebraci\u00f3n, ha sido tomado como indicador y gu\u00eda de la naturaleza de los intercambios regionales y delas transferencias locales del repertorio mon\u00f3dico franco-romano en suelo hisp\u00e1nico desde el siglo xi hasta el xv.     el haber escogido el repertorio de tropos del ordinario de la misa simplemente responde a una situaci\u00f3n de orden cuantitativo; mientras el n\u00famero de tropos del propio en espa\u00f1a brilla por su escasez, especialmente en comparaci\u00f3n con la mayor parte de colecciones europeas, los del ordinario s\u00ed tuvieron una difusi\u00f3n m\u00e1s generalizada. El motivo, sin duda, se debe a que el momento de declive en el reino franco de los primeros (a partir sobre todo del siglo xii) coincide con aquel en el que la pr\u00e1ctica de tropar llegaba a los territorios espa\u00f1oles situados fuera de la marca-hisp\u00e1nica; de hecho, la inmensa mayor\u00eda de los tropos del propio conservados en nuestras fronteras proceden de manuscritos de dentro de la marca que, como es sabido, asumi\u00f3 las costumbres francas desde fechas muy tempranas.     a trav\u00e9s del an\u00e1lisis de variantes de la edici\u00f3n cr\u00edtico-musical realizada de todo el repertorio espa\u00f1ol de tropos del ordinario (contrastando con un corpus de m\u00e1s de 390 fuentes europeas), se ha pretendido arrojar algo de luz, entre otras cosas, sobre la manera, el
