Debido a esto, es fundamental conocer si los m\u00e9todos tradicionales de determinaci\u00f3n de abundancias en nebulosas ionizadas (basados en el an\u00e1lisis de l\u00edneas de excitaci\u00f3n colisional) son fiables o no. el objetivo principal de esta tesis es determinar de forma alternativa la abundancia de ciertos iones (o++, c++, o+ y ne++ a partir de la intensidad de l\u00edneas de recombinaci\u00f3n, mucho m\u00e1s d\u00e9biles que las l\u00edneas de excitaci\u00f3n colisional pero medibles en espectros lo suficientemente profundos. Resultados previos obtenidos para las regiones h ii gal\u00e1cticas y extragal\u00e1cticas m\u00e1s brillantes indicaban que las abundancias calculadas a partir de l\u00edneas de recombinaci\u00f3n son sistem\u00e1ticamente mayores (hasta un factor 2-3) que las determinadas a partir de l\u00edneas de excitaci\u00f3n colisional. Este problema (conocido como \u00abdiscrepancia de abundancias\u00bb) puede estar relacionado con la presencia de fluctuaciones de temperatura en las nebulosas.  en esta tesis se presenta un an\u00e1lisis en detalle de datos espectrofotom\u00e9tricos de zonas brillantes de 8 regiones h ii gal\u00e1cticas. Los datos han sido adquiridos con el espectr\u00f3grafo echelle uves (ultraviolet visual echelle spectrograph) del telescopio kueyen del vlt (very large telescope), en el observatorio de cerro paranal, chile, durante dos campa\u00f1as de observaci\u00f3n. En cada uno de los objetos se ha cubierto un amplio rango de longitud de onda (3100-10400 \u00ed\u00a5), con una resoluci\u00f3n espectral efectiva de r=8800. Hemos detectado varios cientos de l\u00edneas de emisi\u00f3n en cada regi\u00f3n (en total se han medido m\u00e1s de 2600 l\u00edneas), conformando el conjunto m\u00e1s detallado de observaciones de este tipo realizadas hasta la fecha en regiones h ii.
