<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Los objetivos de esta tesis doctoral fueron profundizar en el conocimiento del receptor sigma-1 mediante: 1.- La caracterizaci\u00f3n de in m\u00e9todo in vitro que permita discriminar ligandos agonistas y antagonistas de este receptor mediante su modulaci\u00f3n alost\u00e9rica diferencial por fenito\u00edna en membranas cerebrales de cerebro de cobaya. 2.- Estudiar la uni\u00f3n del ligando protot\u00edpico haloperidol valorando si esta uni\u00f3n es reversible o irreversible, y si es producida por el ligando original o alguno de sus metabolitos, en cerebro de cobaya y en una l\u00ednea celular humana (neuroblastoma humano sh-sy5y). la metodolog\u00eda que se ha utilizado ha sido: subfraccionamiento celular,  ensayos de fijaci\u00f3n de radioligandos y cultivos neuronales. las principales conclusiones obtenidas han sido: 1.- La fenitoina modula alost\u00e9ricamente, y de manera diferencial, la fijaci\u00f3n de los ligandos sigma-1 en funci\u00f3n de su actividad sobre los receptores sigma-1, por lo que ser\u00eda un m\u00e9todo in vitro fiable para discriminar entre agonista<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
