Las implicaciones se expanden transversalmente desde el momento que se integra en la red y nuestro trabajo las trata exclusivamente desde la perspectiva de la autenticaci\u00f3n. Pero, \u00c2\u00bfhacia d\u00f3nde evoluciona esa red?. Una diversidad de redes de acceso van a conformar un panorama del que las tarjetas, actuales y futuras, deber\u00e1n participar. \u00c2\u00bfse pueden hacer m\u00e1s robustos y seguros los esquemas actuales de autenticaci\u00f3n remota para \u00e9stas?. \u00c2\u00bfen qu\u00e9 medida han sido dise\u00f1ados para ser adaptados a estas nuevas circunstancias?. Esta tesis aborda la problem\u00e1tica de una forma conjunta y plantea un nuevo marco de autenticaci\u00f3n para tarjetas inteligentes en red bajo cuyo paraguas podemos modelar, analizar e incluso proponer una arquitectura de protocolos de autenticaci\u00f3n remota. Tras el dise\u00f1o y la implementaci\u00f3n acorde con dicha arquitectura y una evaluaci\u00f3n de las funcionalidades previstas, esta tesis realiza una aplicaci\u00f3n sobre un escenario realista de pago electr\u00f3nico en entornos inal\u00e1mbricos; por un lado demostrando la viabilidad de la propuesta y, por otro, incidiendo en su versatilidad, que le permite ser robusta ante este proceso de
