La compresi\u00f3n y determinaci\u00f3n de los factores del \u00e9xito en la asignaci\u00f3n internacional son cruciales en la gesti\u00f3n y estrategia de las mismas. el prop\u00f3sito principal de este estudio fue explorar el constructo de la inteligencia emocional como pieza clave de la habilidad \u00absoft\u00bb del individuo en tanto predictor crucial para el ajuste intercultural  y los resultados exitosos de la asignaci\u00f3n internacional,  factor que no obstante a menudo se soslaya en la literatura sobre este tema. El presente estudio propone que los procesos de reclutamiento y selecci\u00f3n de candidatos para la asignaci\u00f3n internacional analizados en el contexto de la teor\u00eda basada en el conocimiento as\u00ed como de la teor\u00eda sobre elementos causantes de estr\u00e9s (stressor-stress-strain) para lograr un ajuste intercultural eficaz y resultados exitosos  son cruciales para transferir el conocimiento y \u00abknow-how\u00bb \u00fanicos de una empresa en un contexto internacional. m\u00faltiples y complejos factores a nivel individual, organizacional y cultural  afectan a la gesti\u00f3n eficaz de la estrategia de asignaci\u00f3n internacional.  El estudio examin\u00f3 el nivel individual, tal como se manifiesta principalmente en dificultades en el ajuste intercultural y el \u00e9xito en los resultados obtenidos en una gama de contextos culturales.
