En concreto, la reacci\u00f3n con alquinos terminales, estudiada en el cap\u00edtulo 2, conduce a derivados de cicloheptarieno a trav\u00e9s de procesos mutlicompontente [3+2+2] y [2+2+2+1]. Por el contrario, el empleo de alquinos internos (cap\u00edtulo 3) conduce a carbociclos de 5 eslabones de manera altamente selectiva.  en el \u00faltimo cap\u00edtulo se estudia la reactividad frente a alenos que ha permitido encontrar un interesante efecto del disolvente en el curso de la reacci\u00f3n. As\u00ed, mientras  la reacci\u00f3n de complejos alquenil carbeno de fischer de cromo(0) con alenos en presencia de bis(ciclooctadieno)niquel(0) en acetonitrilo conduce a carbocilos de 7 eslabones, el empleo de tolueno origina de selectivamente carbociclos de 5 eslabone. Los resultados descritos en los cap\u00edtulos 2,3 y 4 constituyen los primeros ejemplos de modificaci\u00f3n cualitativa de la reactividad de complejos carbeno de fischer de cromo(0) en presencia de
