El objetivo de este trabajo de tesis es emplear modelos gen\u00e9ticos para comprender aspectos funcionales de hnf1a en un contexto celular in vivo.     concretamente, mediante el uso de un modelo de expresi\u00f3n de hnf1a condicional y espec\u00edfico de c\u00e9lula beta, demostramos que la funci\u00f3n de este activador transcripcional tiene autonom\u00eda celular en la c\u00e9lula beta, puede ser rescatada parcialmente en edad adulta y es altamente dependiente de los niveles de expresi\u00f3n.     tambi\u00e9n nos interesamos que comprender c\u00f3mo ejerce hnf1a su funci\u00f3n mediante el uso de un modelo deficiente para hnf1a. Demostramos que hnf1a no s\u00f3lo induce localmente modificaciones de histona en la cromatina de sus genes diana, sino que tambi\u00e9n induce el reposicionamiento selectivo de los loci a subdominios ricos en precisamente las modificaciones de histona inducidas localmente. Por primera vez, se evidencia que un activador puede reposicionar sus genes diana y que las modificaciones de histona tienen una representaci\u00f3n espacial en el n\u00facleo.     estos resutlados tienen importantes implicaciones en la comprensi\u00f3n de las bases moleculares de una enfermedad humana y por consiguiente en el dise\u00f1o de futuras terapias
