H. Polymorpha es una levadura capaz de asimilar nitrato como \u00fanica fuente de nitr\u00f3geno y ha sido empleada como modelo experimental para el estudio de la v\u00eda.   los conocimientos actuales sobre la regulaci\u00f3n de la v\u00eda de asimilaci\u00f3n de nitrato plantean que el proceso global es el resultado del balance entre se\u00f1ales positivas (inducci\u00f3n por nitrato) y se\u00f1ales negativas (represi\u00f3n por fuentes reducidas de nitr\u00f3geno).  Hasta el momento se han aislado genes que participan en la inducci\u00f3n por nitrato (yna1 e yna2) y en la represi\u00f3n\/desrepresi\u00f3n por fuentes de nitr\u00f3geno preferenciales (ure2, gat1, gln3, gzf3, dal80 y deh1), adem\u00e1s de que evidencias indirectas indican la participaci\u00f3n de la v\u00eda de se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n mediada por las tor quinasas.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
