<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El estudio de la producci\u00f3n de carlos fuentes como ensayista e investigador literario a lo largo de su vida acad\u00e9mica en cambridge y harvard, a trav\u00e9s de los cursos que ha impartido y de los ensayos y art\u00edculos sobre literatura hispanoamericana que ha publicado en diversos peri\u00f3dicos y revistas a lo largo de su vida y cuya esencia est\u00e1 compilada en cinco libros: la nueva novela hispanoamericana y casa con dos puertas, que fueron publicados al finalizar los sesenta -por  lo tanto contienen una suerte de balance de esa d\u00e9cada de cambios, tan importante para entender el inicio del siglo xxi-; valiente mundo nuevo y geograf\u00eda de la novela, datados a inicios de los noventa -con una visi\u00f3n te\u00f3rica m\u00e1s aguda y especializada-, y cervantes o la cr\u00edtica de la lectura, texto que es columna vertebral en la novela y en la cr\u00edtica de carlos fuentes y por ello, fuente primordial de este ensayo. el presente trabajo considera material de cimentaci\u00f3n dichos vol\u00famenes y otorga un cap\u00edtulo a cada uno de ellos con la intenci\u00f3n de establecer la forma en que la mirada de carlos fuentes se proyecta sobre la producci\u00f3n literaria de los dem\u00e1s y que, mediante un inevitable juego de espejos, se refracta hacia su propia obra hasta convertirse en parte consustancial de su proceso creativo; un fen\u00f3meno de recursividad o aprendizaje continuo, un ir y venir de lanzadera a trav\u00e9s de dichos libros c\u00f3digo o llave maestra, que da cifra y sentido al
