Para ello, se han puesto a punto nuevas t\u00e9cnicas de reticulaci\u00f3n que permiten inmovilizar unidades de ciclodextrina en soportes polim\u00e9ricos reticulados de naturaleza hidrof\u00edlica y que evitan el efecto de diluci\u00f3n que experimentan los complejos f\u00e1rmacos-ciclodextrina en disoluci\u00f3n cuando entran en contacto con el medio biol\u00f3gico. Estos materiales cuentan con propiedades mec\u00e1nicas adecuadas para su utilizaci\u00f3n como soportes de sistemas de liberaci\u00f3n de f\u00e1rmacos, con aptitud para responder a ciertos est\u00edmulos fisiol\u00f3gicos y propiedades bioadhesivas. La reticulaci\u00f3n con etilenglicoldiglicidil \u00e9ter permite preparar en condiciones suaves y en una \u00fanica etapa hidrogeles de ciclodextrinas, de ciclodextrinas y \u00e9teres de celulosa, o de ciclodextrinas y gomas guar, o sistemas interpenetrados de ciclodextrinas y microgeles de \u00e1cido poliacr\u00edlico.
