Estudios previos han mostrado que estas v\u00edas, bien directa o indirectamente, provocan la regulaci\u00f3n post-transcripcional del represor capicua (cic) en el embri\u00f3n temprano y el ovario. en esta tesis se muestran evidencias de que ambos efectos reguladores son directos y dependen de un lugar de uni\u00f3n a la map quinasa (mapk) en  capicua que interacciona con la mapk rolled. Derivados de capicua carentes de este lugar de anclaje causan fenotipos dominantes similares a aquellos resultantes de la p\u00e9rdida de las actividades de torso y egfr. Tales fenotipos provienen de la represi\u00f3n inapropiada de genes que normalmente se expresan en respuesta a las se\u00f1ales de torso y egfr.  nuestros resultados son consistentes con un modelo en el que capicua el es el principal efector nuclear de la v\u00eda de torso, pero s\u00f3lo uno de los diferentes efectores que responden al a se\u00f1al de egfr. Finalmente, describimos diferencias en la manera con que capicua es regulada por las se\u00f1ales de torso y egfr. As\u00ed, mientras que en el embri\u00f3n capic\u00faa es degradada en lso n\u00facleos de las c\u00e9lulas que reciben la se\u00f1al reguladora de la v\u00eda de torso, en el epitelio folicular de las c\u00e1maras ov\u00e1ricas, capicua sufre una redistribuci\u00f3n n\u00facleo-citoplasm\u00e1tica en aquellas c\u00e9lulas que reciben la se\u00f1al de la v\u00eda de egfr.
