Uno de estos mecanismos es la s\u00edntesis translesi\u00f3n, llevada a cabo principalmente por polimerasas de la familia y.  el objetivo de esta tesis ha sido la identificaci\u00f3n de genes pertenencias a dicha familia en arabidopsis thaliana. los resultados obtenidos indican que a.Thaliana presenta hom\u00f3logos estructurales y funcionales de las subfamilias rad30\/pol? Y rev1, denominados atpolh y arrev1 respectivamente. ambos genes se encuentran contiguos en el cromosoma v de la planta, y en ambos se ha observado procesamiento alternativo dando lugar a diferentes prote\u00ednas. la expresi\u00f3n de atpolh en estirpes deficientes de levaduras recupera el fenotipo silvestre tras irradiarlas con luz uv, siendo imprescindible la secuencia side del centro activo y la regi\u00f3n carboxi-terminal. La expresi\u00f3n del gen artev1 en estirpes de levaduras deficientes no recupera el fenotipo silvestre debido probablemente a la escasa homolog\u00eda entre rev1 de a.Thaliana y saccharomyces cerevisiae. La sobreexpresi\u00f3n de atpolh en escherichia coli produce un cambio en el espectro mutacional tras irradiar las c\u00e9lulas con luz uv. atpolh y atrev1 se expresan en todas las c\u00e9lulas vivas de la planta a lo largo de todo el ciclo biol\u00f3gico, siendo los \u00f3rganos reproductivos y los tejidos meristem\u00e1ticos los que presentan menor expresi\u00f3n. Atrev1 se expresa unas cinco veces  m\u00e1s que atpolh, y la expresi\u00f3n de ambos no se induce frente a luz visible o luz ultravioleta. el silenciamiento y sobreexpresi\u00f3n de atrev1 disminuye la tasa de germinaci\u00f3n. El silenciamiento de ambos genes y la sobreexpresi\u00f3n de atpolh retrasan el desarrollo, mientras que la sobreexpresi\u00f3n de arrev1 lo induce. los resultados obtenidos muestran que las plantas
