En este sentido presentamos la prote\u00edna de corte y oliadenilaci\u00f3n cpsf3 como un nuevo represor transcripcional del vih-1.  hemos descrito esta nueva actividad represora de la prote\u00edna y un nuevo sitio de interacci\u00f3n de cpsf3 con la regi\u00f3n moduladora del promotor del vih, que proponemos es el responsable de su actividad represora. Esta nueva actividad la encontramos tanto en transfecciones transitorias como en un modelo de latencia viral en el que el virus se encuentra establemente integrado e inactivo. Dado que est\u00e1 descrito que la prote\u00edna viral tat aumenta la expresi\u00f3n de cpsf3, estudiamos la capacidad de tat de regular esta nueva actividad, viendo que en presencia de tat se perd\u00eda la represi\u00f3n mediada por cpsf3. Tambi\u00e9n se estudia la interacci\u00f3n f\u00edsica entre cpsf3 y la prote\u00edna viral tat.
