Varios factores parecen influenciar significativamente las temperaturas de transici\u00f3n de estos puntos fijos. Las que han sido investigadas a trav\u00e9s de modelado te\u00f3rico en esta tesis son:     * la influencia de las impurezas.     * la ca\u00edda de temperatura debido al intercambio de calor con zonas fr\u00edas del horno.     * las condicones t\u00e9rmicas tanto para termometr\u00eda de contacto como de radiaci\u00f3n.     esta investigaci\u00f3n es parte del proyecto \u00ab\u00bbhimert\u00bb\u00bb (\u00ab\u00bbnovel, high temperature, metal-carbon eutectic fixed points for radiation thermometry, radiometry and thermocouples\u00bb\u00bb) realizado con fondos del programa \u00ab\u00bbgrowth\u00bb\u00bb de la uni\u00f3n europea. En este proyecto han participado los laboratorios npl (reino unido\u00bb\u00bb, bnm-inm (francia); bnm-lne (francia), ptb (alemania), y las empresas thermocoax (francia) y land instruments
