En este sentido, su actividad esta estrechamente relacionadas con algunos de los grandes proyectos capitales de la arquitectura del momento; en los casos del sagrario de la catedral de ja\u00e9n y los p\u00falpitos de la catedral de c\u00f3rdoba. del mismo modo, la tesis aborda la sugerente problem\u00e1tica art\u00edstica del momento, al plantear la confluencia de varias opciones est\u00e9tica ene l marco del debate entre barroco \u00abcastizo\u00bb y barroco clasicista. Junto a todo ello, la tesis aporta datos imprescindibles para una visi\u00f3n unitaria dela figura del personaje protagonista, junto a una propuesta de catalogaci\u00f3n global de su obra
