Sin embargo \u00e9sta no est\u00e1 exenta de efectos delet\u00e9reos (miocardio aturdido, arritmias, lesi\u00f3n por reperfusi\u00f3n). Varios son los factores que han sido implicados en la aparici\u00f3n de estos efectos, entre los que se encuentran la activaci\u00f3n del intercambiador na+\/h+. Existen en la literatura referencias previas respecto a los efectos beneficiosos en la protecci\u00f3n del miocardio isqu\u00e9mico y reperfundido de la inhibici\u00f3n del  intercambiador na+\/h+. La halocina h7, bacteriocina-like producida por la arquea, haloferax gibbonsii, es un inhibidor espec\u00edfico y con efectos reversibles del intercambiador na+\/h+. El eipa es un derivado del amiloride y ha sido demostrado su efecto protector en el miocardio isqu\u00e9mico por inhibici\u00f3n del intercambiador na+\/h+. Estudiamos el efecto protector de la halocina  h7 y del eipa en conejos sometidos a oclusi\u00f3n coronaria aguda (1 hora) seguida de reperfusi\u00f3n (2 horas),  y obtuvimos como resultado una reducci\u00f3n del tama\u00f1o del infarto en los animales tratados con eipa, y una tendencia a la disminuci\u00f3n del tama\u00f1o del infarto y de la incidencia de arritmias expresadas como latidos ventriculares ect\u00f3picos en los animales tratados con halocina h7. Determinamos tambi\u00e9n en el grupo tratado con halocina los indicadores bioqu\u00edmicos de lesi\u00f3n mioc\u00e1rdica.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
