Recopilaci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n sobre las calderas de colapso proveniente de estudios de campo, modelos experimentales y modelos matem\u00e1ticos. Llegados a este punto, se ha avanzado en cada una de las disciplinas comentadas anteriormente, reinterpretado y complementado los datos ya existentes (para el caso de los datos de campo), elaborando nuevos experimentos (modelos anal\u00f3gicos) o c\u00e1lculos (modelos matem\u00e1ticos).  los objetivos son, por una parte, realizar una comparaci\u00f3n entre los resultados obtenidos a trav\u00e9s del trabajo de campo, los modelos experimentales y los modelos matem\u00e1ticos, y definir, por otra, la posibles restricciones presentes en los diferentes m\u00e9todos. La combinaci\u00f3n del so resultados obtenidos permite determinar las causas y mecanismos que controlan las calderas de colapso, proporcionando una idea clara de cuando y como se dar\u00e1 el colapso y como ser\u00e1 la estructura resultante. De esta forma, se pueden identificar y cuantificar aquellos factores que controlan la formaci\u00f3n de estas estructuras; dimensi\u00f3n, forma y profundidad de la c\u00e1mara magm\u00e1tica, reolog\u00eda de la roca encajante, historia de deformaci\u00f3n previa, existencia de topograf\u00eda, tect\u00f3nica regional, el campo de temperatura alrededor de la c\u00e1mara magm\u00e1tica, y la composici\u00f3n y reolog\u00eda del magma.  adicionalmente, de forma individual, la revisi\u00f3n de los datos de campo es indispensable para, la creaci\u00f3n de una base de datos (ccdb) sobre calderas de colapso como un primer intento de establecer un nexo de uni\u00f3n entre los diferentes grupos cient\u00edficos, iniciando un proceso de intercambio de datos e informaci\u00f3n para poder mejorar el conocimiento general sobre este tipo de estructuras volc\u00e1nicas.
