El proceso se divide principalmente en cuatro etapas: (i) doblado de tubo, (ii) preconformado y cierre de molde, (iii) etapa de hidroconformado de tubo y (iv) operaciones de acabado. el trabajo realizado para la caracterizaci\u00f3n y optimizaci\u00f3n de este tipo de procesos ha permitido la consecuci\u00f3n de una serie de objetivos, de los cuales destacan: a) dise\u00f1o, fabricaci\u00f3n y puesta a punto de una instalaci\u00f3n sensorizada de car\u00e1cter cient\u00edfico, b) desarrollo de una metodolog\u00eda para la caracterizaci\u00f3n de material tubo perfilado y soldado, c) desarrollo de una metodolog\u00eda para la caracterizaci\u00f3n tribol\u00f3gica de los procesos de hidroconformado de tubo, d) desarrollo de un modelo num\u00e9rico robusto para su aplicaci\u00f3n en los procesos de hidroconformado de tubo y e) hidroconformado de tres piezas de geometr\u00eda simple y de un pedal de freno actualmente conformado por batz s.Coop.
