Cms tiene un sistema de detecci\u00f3n de muones de altas prestaciones y altamente redundante, del que forman parte las c\u00e1maras de tubos de deriva, las cuales se sit\u00faan en la parte del barril del experimento. en la tesis se hace un estudio profundo de estos detectores: se describe la construcci\u00f3n y pruebas, seg\u00fan se ha realizado en el ciemat; como se transportan al cern y se vuelven a probar una vez all\u00ed para comprobar que el transporte no ha afectado a su rendimiento; despu\u00e9s, el proceso de instalaci\u00f3n y certificaci\u00f3n una vez instaladas en su ubicaci\u00f3n final en el entrehierro de cms. Adem\u00e1s se describen las pruebas y an\u00e1lisis hechos a lo largo de los \u00faltimos 4 a\u00f1os para comprobar y medir los par\u00e1metros de funcionamiento de las c\u00e1maras de deriva. Para ello se han realizado diversas pruebas con haces de muones y, m\u00e1s recientemente, el test del im\u00e1n y desaf\u00edo c\u00f3smico, una prueba conjunta de varias porciones de los distintos subdetectores de cms junto con el im\u00e1s superconductor de 4 t. Gracias a estas pruebas se ha podido comprobar que las c\u00e1maras funcionan como se esperaba, con una resoluci\u00f3n media por supercapa de unos 250 micr\u00f3metros, una eficiencia de
