Adem\u00e1s, los macr\u00f3fagos ko para rxr-alfa pierden casi totalmente la capacidad de respuesta, lo que indica que esta isoforma es limitante en este tipo celular. En estos estudios se observ\u00f3 que rxr induce un aumento transcripcional de las quimioquinas ccl6 y ccl9 y, posteriormente, se demostr\u00f3 que el mecanismo de inducci\u00f3n implica la uni\u00f3n de rxr y arnpol-ii a los promotores proximales. En modelos murinos de peritonitis, los ratones ko para rxr-alfa acumulan un menor n\u00famero de granulocitos y monocitos en el foco de inflamaci\u00f3n, fen\u00f3meno correlacionado con un
