En esta tesis se han usado las sales de fe(iii) para estudiar su comportamiento frente a alquinos y tambi\u00e9n en las reacciones de enlace alquino-aldehido.  asimismo, tambi\u00e9n se han usado para la s\u00edntesis de anillos pir\u00e1nicos v\u00eda la reacci\u00f3n de prins.
