Sin embargo el desarrollo t\u00e9cnico y social precisa de nuevas tecnolog\u00edas m\u00e1s eficaces en cuanto a la eliminaci\u00f3n de nutrientes a la vez que permitan obtener efluentes con calidad suficiente para ser directamente reutilizables. En este sentido, la combinaci\u00f3n del proceso biol\u00f3gico de fangos activos y las tecnolog\u00edas de membrana (ultrafiltraci\u00f3n) aplicadas en la actualidad como tratamiento terciario de aguas residuales, se est\u00e1n mostrando como un sistema emergente que puede evitar los problemas de la tecnolog\u00eda convencional de fangos activos a la vez que se consigue un sistema compacto y con menores necesidades de espacio,  mejorando los rendimientos principalmente en la eliminaci\u00f3n de pat\u00f3genos. en el presente trabajo de investigaci\u00f3n se estudio el rendimiento de un
