La gran actividad en este campo se puede observar en el aumento reciente de las publicaciones. En 1991, m\u00e1s de 1400 art\u00edculos trataron con el tema. El n\u00famero de patentes difusas publicadas en 1992 excede el total de suma de todas las patentes de sistema difusos anteriormente publicadas.  En la actualidad, se tienen importantes revistas especializadas en sistemas difusos como: the soft journal, fuzzy sets and systems, international journal of approximate reasoning y the ieee transactions on fuzzy systems que publican solamente art\u00edculos t\u00e9cnicos de gran calidad en teoria, dise\u00f1o y aplicaci\u00f3n de conjuntos y sistemas difusos. Pese a esto la l\u00f3gica difusa sigue siendo a\u00fan desconocida para muchos y su aplicaci\u00f3n un tanto complicada. Por este motivo el trabajo que aqui se presenta se ha centrado en   obtener una nueva metodolog\u00eda de control no lineal basada en la l\u00f3gica difusa. El objetivo principal de esta tesis es obtener una nueva metodolog\u00eda de la l\u00f3gica difusa que sea simple y sencilla de aplicar a una gran cantidad de casos pr\u00e1cticos. Esta mejora permite aplicar de forma m\u00e1s r\u00e1pida los conceptos del control difuso a una gran cantidad de sistemas.Se explican las caracter\u00edsticas m\u00e1s importantes a tener en cuenta en el dise\u00f1o de sistemas de control convencional o difuso, para ver en que se diferencian, y cuando hay que aplicar uno u otro m\u00e9todo. En este sentido, se mencionan las ventajas y limitaciones del m\u00e9todo propuesto con respecto a la l\u00f3gica difusa tradicional. Se explica de forma detallada la nueva metodolog\u00eda de l\u00f3gica difusa a la cual tambi\u00e9n se le realiza un an\u00e1lisis de estabilidad mediante el uso de las funciones descriptivas. La nueva metodolog\u00eda de l\u00f3gica difusa se aplica a la resoluci\u00f3n de seis casos en la ingenier\u00eda de control: el sistema viga-bola, el sistema de suspensi\u00f3n de un autob\u00fas, la suspensi\u00f3n semiactiva de un car-cross, el sistema de doble y simple p\u00e9ndulo invertido y el sistema de veh\u00edculos seguidores. Todos estos casos fueron simulados en un ordenador con la ayuda de simulink de matlab. Tambi\u00e9n se realizaron pruebas experimentales en algunos de estos casos, para ver c\u00f3mo se comportaba el sistema de control ante ruidos y perturbaciones propias de las se\u00f1ales de entrada en los sistemas reales. Por \u00faltimo, se recogen las principales conclusiones del trabajo descrito en la memoria y las posibles l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n y aplicaci\u00f3n que quedan abiertas.  research and development in fuzzy systems has increased rapidly during the last years. This has led to a bigger number of publications: in 1991 more than 1400 papers dealt with the topic, and the number of patents issued in 1992 concern\u00edng fuzzy systems exceeds the sum total of all previously issued fuzzy systems patents. Up to date, important specialized journals related with fuzzy systems have arisen, for instance: the soft journal, fuzzy sets and systems, international journal of approximate reasoning and the ieee transactions on fuzzy systems. These journals publish only the highest quality technical papers in the theory, design and appli cati\u00f3n of fuzzy sets and systems. In spite of this increased activity, the fuzzy logic contin\u00faes being little known for many control designers, as well as a bit complicated in its application. For this reason the work presented here, has been focused on obtaining a new methodology of fuzzy logic based non-linear control. The main aim of this thesis is to obtain a new fuzzy logic methodology that is easy and simple to apply to general practical cases. This improvement allows a more straightforward application of the fuzzy control to a wide variety of practical cases. This work explains the most important features that make a difference between conventional and fuzzy control in system design, setting up sol id criteria for deciding which one to apply. In this sense, the advantages and limitations of the proposed method with regard to the traditional fuzzy logic are studied in depth. Furthermore, the new fuzzy logic methodology is explained in detail, and a stability analysis is carried out by means of the use of descriptive functions. The new fuzzy logic methodology is applied to six different examples of engineering control: the beam-ball system, the bus active suspensi\u00f3n system, the car-cross semi-active suspensi\u00f3n system, the double and simple inverted pendulum system and the car following system. All cases were solved through computational simulation using matlab-simulink. Experimental tests were al so realized for some of the cases, to observe the behavior of designed control strategies in the presence of noises and disturbances of the real signals.
