Margarita <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En esta tesis doctoral se presenta el desarrollo y caracterizaci\u00f3n de dos cargadores de aerosoles submicrom\u00e9tricos para el cargado de part\u00edculas en el rango de tama\u00f1os de 50 a 250 nm, con el prop\u00f3sito de ser usados en t\u00e9cnicas de medici\u00f3n de tama\u00f1os de part\u00edculas (dmas), para la generaci\u00f3n de aerosoles monodispersos. Se ha investigado el funcionamiento de un nuevo cargador bipolar radiactivo, el cual presenta una actividad tan d\u00e9bil que las regulaciones sobre materiales radiactivos no demandan su clasificaci\u00f3n. Se ha probado experimental y num\u00e9ricamente que el cargador es adecuado para el cargado de aerosoles hacia la distribuci\u00f3n de carga estacionaria para caudales t\u00edpicos usados en conexi\u00f3n con dmas (0.5 &#8211; 2.5 l\u00c2\u00b7min-1) y concentraciones num\u00e9ricas de part\u00edculas hasta 2\u00c2\u00b7106 cm-3. Por otro lado, se ha modificado un cargador unipolar corona ya existente con el prop\u00f3sito de reducir los efectos de cargas m\u00faltiples. Se ha encontrado, experimental y te\u00f3ricamente, que ajustando apropiadamente las caracter\u00edsticas de dise\u00f1o y condiciones de operaci\u00f3n del cargador (las cuales determinan el par\u00e1metro de cargado nit), la fracci\u00f3n de part\u00edculas con m\u00faltiples cargas se hace despreciable frente a la fracci\u00f3n de part\u00edculas con carga unidad.
