Dicho an\u00e1lisis se lleva a cabo a trav\u00e9s de un estudio de caso realizado en un centro situado en un n\u00facleo periurbano de la bah\u00eda de c\u00e1diz, con una poblaci\u00f3n cercana a los diez mil habitantes.  el prop\u00f3sito general de esta tesis doctoral es conocer y comprender las pr\u00e1cticas de evaluaci\u00f3n del alumnado en educaci\u00f3n primaria y para ello se ha tratado de identificar las claves que permitieran comprender lo que ocurre cada d\u00eda en el interior de las aulas. Y ello, porque las pr\u00e1cticas de evaluaci\u00f3n no pueden entenderse de forma descontextualizada, sin tener en cuenta los agentes y las circunstancias que inciden en ellas. La intenci\u00f3n era llegar a un conocimiento \u00fatil para favorecer la reflexi\u00f3n y el aprendizaje tanto de los futuros docentes como de aqu\u00e9llos que est\u00e1n en ejercicio.  el estudio ha tenido un car\u00e1cter longitudinal, desarroll\u00e1ndose en dos fases. En ambas, la profesora desempe\u00f1aba su labor como tutora de un mismo grupo de alumnos y alumnas. Durante la primera fase, el alumnado cursaba 2\u00c2\u00ba de educaci\u00f3n  primaria y durante la segunda, 4\u00c2\u00ba curso. Este hecho ha permitido constatar que las coincidencias entre las pr\u00e1cticas que la maestra desarrolla en un curso y otros son m\u00e1s abundantes que las discrepancias. No obstante, existen alguna diferencias significativas que reflejan, entre otros aspectos que, a medida que se avanza en la educaci\u00f3n primaria  se avanza hacia la selecci\u00f3n. Por otro lado, otro aspecto a destacar es que se confirma que la evaluaci\u00f3n no es s\u00f3lo un asunto t\u00e9cnico sino tambi\u00e9n y, sobre todo, un proceso con claro valor acad\u00e9mico,
