Asimismo, la regulaci\u00f3n negativa del no sobre la expresi\u00f3n de estos genes parece estar mediada por la v\u00eda de pkg y muy probablemente, por la v\u00eda de pi3k.     la relevancia fisiol\u00f3gica de la regulaci\u00f3n por no se refleja al comprobar que la ausencia cr\u00f3nica de no (ratones deficientes en la enzima enos) se traduce en la reducci\u00f3n dr\u00e1stica de la expresi\u00f3n tanto de pgc-1 como de los genes pertenecientes al sistema de protecci\u00f3n mitocondrial frente a ros.     la segunda parte del trabajo se centra en el estudio del promotor murino de pgc-1, con la finalidad de tratar de identificar elementos de respuesta al no en dicho promotor. Comprobamos que la actividad del promotor de pgc-1 se encuentra disminuida tras tiempos cortos de tratamiento con deta-no y adem\u00e1s, este efecto esta medida por las v\u00edas de cgmp y pi3k. Asimismo, detectamos la existencia de elementos de respuesta al no en la regi\u00f3n de 1,3 kb upstream del punto de inicio de la transcripci\u00f3n, regi\u00f3n donde se han descrito sitios de uni\u00f3n para factores de transcripci\u00f3n como es el caso de foxo3a. Proponemos que fox3a es el factor de transcripci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s del cual el no regula negativamente la actividad del promotor de pgc-1.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
