Litiaci\u00f3n catalizada de w-cloro orto\u00e9steres. La reacci\u00f3n de litiaci\u00f3n, empleando litio met\u00e1lico en exceso y una cantidad subestequiom\u00e9trica de dtbb (4.4\u00c2\u00bf-di-terc-butilbifenilo), de diferentes w-cloro orto\u00e9steres permite obtener, tras su reacci\u00f3n con compuestos carbon\u00edlicos, desprotecci\u00f3n y posterior tratamiento en medio \u00e1cido, las correspondientes g- y d-lactonas. Tambi\u00e9n se analiza la respectiva estabilidad y reactividad de estos intermedios organol\u00edticos funcionalizados con un grupo orto\u00e9ster empleados en las reacciones anteriores. Preparaci\u00f3n de derivados de imidazol. Se estudia la reacci\u00f3n de litiaci\u00f3n de diferentes derivados de imidazol, empleando litio met\u00e1lico en exceso e isopreno como aditivo. As\u00ed, la litiaci\u00f3n del n-metil- y n-feilimidazol y posterior reacci\u00f3n con electr\u00f3filos proporciona los correspondientes derivados de 2-(hidroxialquil)- y 2-(aminoalquil)imidazol. a continuaci\u00f3n, se analiza la estabilidad de distintos sustituyentes (tritilo, alilo, bencilo, vinilo, n,n-dimestilsulfamo\u00edlo, para-toluensulfonilo, terc-butoxicarbonilo, acetilo, trimetilsililo y terc-butildimetilsililo) sobre el nitr\u00f3geno del imidazo, observ\u00e1ndose que al ser sometidos al proceso de litiaci\u00f3n se produce la desprotecci\u00f3n de los mismos, obteni\u00e9ndose el 1h-imidazol. Sin embargo, el uso de 1-(dietoximetil)imidazol como sustrato de partida permite la preparaci\u00f3n del 2-litio derivado que reacciona con diferentes electr\u00f3filos proporcionando, tras su desprotecic\u00f3n, los 1h-imidazoles, 2-funcionalizados.  finalmente, la reacci\u00f3n de varios ep\u00f3xidos con 1h-imida-zol y 1h-bencimidazol a 60\u00c2\u00bac da lugar a la formaci\u00f3n de los correspondientes 1-(2-hidroxi-alquil)imidazoles y -bencimidazoles, respectivametne, de forma regioselectiva.
