En esta tesis se analizan las posibles causas de la diferencia entre ambas situaciones: identidad \u00e9tnica, el comportamiento ling\u00ed\u00bc\u00edstico de las \u00e9lites minoritarias, el grado de apoyo popular, actitudes hacia la ense\u00f1anza de escrituras no-han (y su papel en el aprendizaje del han), el grado de identificaci\u00f3n con el tipo de escritura y el est\u00e1ndar oral promovidas y si la escritura promovida es considerada un veh\u00edculo de desarrollo socioecon\u00f3mico. En segundo lugar se explora por qu\u00e9 las promociones de lenguas minoritarias en general (e incluso la de nuosu) no se han llevado a cabo m\u00e1s eficaz y rigurosamente debido a la oposici\u00f3n
