Presentan una estructura porosa que les confiere propiedades de hinchamiento similares a la de sus hom\u00f3logos macrogeles. En los \u00faltimos tiempos han sido extensamente estudiados los microgeles capaces de responder ante est\u00edmulos externos, en particular frente al ph, debido a sus potenciales aplicaciones en la liberaci\u00f3n controlada y en la recuperaci\u00f3n de contaminantes de aguas residuales. Estos microgeles ph-sensibles est\u00e1n constituidos por matrices polim\u00e9ricas coloidales con grupos ionizables \u00e1cidos o b\u00e1sicos.  en esta memoria se procedi\u00f3 a la s\u00edntesis y caracterizaci\u00f3n de microgeles reactivos que finalmente fueron transformados en ph -sensibles por funcionalizaci\u00f3n de los mismos mediante modificaci\u00f3n qu\u00edmica postsint\u00e9tica. Por otra parte, es sabido que existe una especificidad entre las mol\u00e9culas tumorales y el \u00e1cido  f\u00f3lico, y que los conjugados folato al ser interiorizados en las c\u00e9lulas cancer\u00edgenas originan un ph \u00e1cido (). en base a estos datos en la presente memoria se ha dise\u00f1ado un nanoingenio constituido por un mikcrogel que sirve de base para la liberaci\u00f3n de f\u00e1rmacos anticancer\u00edgenos en las nuevas formas de terapia contra el c\u00e1ncer. Para ello se procedi\u00f3 a la vectorizaci\u00f3n de microgeles reactivos con \u00e1cido f\u00f3lico y a la funcionalizaci\u00f3n de los mismos con grupos funcionales cati\u00f3nicos capaces de
