Un caso concreto es el objeto de este trabajo. Se trata de la s\u00edntesis mediante polimerizaci\u00f3n en emulsi\u00f3n (en un reactor discontinuo y\/o semi-continuo) de nanopart\u00edculas formada sa partir de cadenas biopolim\u00e9ricas entrecruzadas (microgeles) que pueden cambiar su tama\u00f1o (hincharse\/deshincharse) en funci\u00f3n de las condiciones del medio (temperatura) pudiendo adem\u00e1s albergar f\u00e1rmacos en su interior que a su vez pueden ser dosificados en el momento y lugar elegido cuando las nanopart\u00edculas se deshinchen.      ciertos pol\u00edmeros son solubles en agua a baja temperatura, sep\u00e1randose de la disoluci\u00f3n y formando fase aparte al aumentar la temperatura por encima de un valor conocido temperatura inferior cr\u00edtica de disoluci\u00f3n (en ingl\u00e9s lcst), tambi\u00e9n llamada temperatura cr\u00edtica de cambio de fase. En funci\u00f3n de los mon\u00f3meros empleados en la reacci\u00f3n de polimerizaci\u00f3n, las part\u00edculas de microgel estar\u00e1n constituidas por pol\u00edmeros que tengan distintos valores de lcst. El cambio de volumen experimentado por las part\u00edculas de microgel sensibles a la temperatura puede ser mayor o menor seg\u00fan se copolimerice con mon\u00f3meros m\u00e1s o menos hidrof\u00edlicos. En resumen, ciertos pol\u00edmeros son una composici\u00f3n y densidad de entrecruzamiento apropiados pueden hincharse enormemente en agua a temperatura ambiente y colapsar a la lcst. Esta transici\u00f3n es reversible.     la poli(n-vinilcaprolactama) (pvcl) es un pol\u00edmero cuyo comportamiento en disoluci\u00f3n es sensible a la temperatura. En fase acuosa sus cambios de fase ocurren en un rango comprendido entre 30\u00c2\u00bac y 40\u00c2\u00bac, cercando a la temperatura fisiol\u00f3gica.
