El primero permite el analisis de creatinina y los derivados de las purinas: hipoxantina, xantina, acido urico y alantoina. El segundo la determinacion de los acidos benzoico e hipurico y sus conjugados con glicina, los acidos fenilacetico y fenaceturico. Por ultimo se ha sesarrollado un metodo que permite el analisis conjunto de la mayor parte de los metabolitos anteriores.
