Debido a que el movimiento del agua es sensible al entorno celular del tejido, la dwmri se ha convertido en una t\u00e9cnica de imagen m\u00e9dica muy \u00fatil para el diagn\u00f3stico de enfermedades, el seguimiento de la progresi\u00f3n de enfermedades, as\u00ed como para la monitorizaci\u00f3n de la respuesta a terapias. Adem\u00e1s, el uso de la imagen por el tensor de difusi\u00f3n (dti), una extensi\u00f3n de la t\u00e9cnica de dwmri, proporciona informaci\u00f3n sobre la anisotrop\u00eda (o la ausencia de la misma) del movimiento del agua en los tejidos. Algunos tejidos, tales como la materia blanca en el cerebro, normalmente imparten gran anisotrop\u00eda al movimiento del agua. En estos casos, dti puede ser usada para medir, de manera cuantitativa, la integridad de tejidos que pudieran estar afectados por alguna enfermedad neurol\u00f3gica. En las im\u00e1genes obtenidas mediante dwmri y dti, los artefactos causados por movimientos son un problema significativo, particularmente en estudios de alta resoluci\u00f3n en animales donde el control del moviendo es m\u00e1s complicado. En este respecto, las t\u00e9cnicas de mri radiales han demostrado ser menos sensibles al movimiento que los m\u00e9todos est\u00e1ndares de mri cartesianos. El principal objetivo del trabajo aqu\u00ed presentado es la implementaci\u00f3n de una secuencia radial de spin-echo pesada en difusi\u00f3n en un esc\u00e1ner de mri pre-cl\u00ednico de alto campo as\u00ed como su optimizaci\u00f3n para obtener im\u00e1genes cerebrales por el tensor de difusi\u00f3n de alta resoluci\u00f3n en peque\u00f1os animales. Para validad la t\u00e9cnica, esta investigaci\u00f3n ha sido aplicada con \u00e9xito en tres novedosos estudios. Primero, se ha aplicado para el estudio de un modelo de glioma cerebral en rata. As\u00ed mismo, se han desarrollado y aplicado protocolos de dti en un modelo de rat\u00f3n con un desorden de demielinaci\u00f3n (la enfermedad de niemann-p<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
