El nuevo m\u00e9todo prob\u00f3 ser m\u00e1s eficiente y preciso que las alternativas cl\u00e1sicas. Despu\u00e9s se ha demostrado emp\u00edricamente el efecto de los materiales provenientes del r\u00edo (especialmente el carbono org\u00e1nico disuelto) en la generaci\u00f3n de capas an\u00f3xicas en el fondo del embalse.  estos resultados no s\u00f3lo se han aplicado en el caso del embalse de sau, sino que han demostrado ser extraporables a otros sistemas inundados, en diferentes regiones del planea.  la segunda parte de la tesis desarrolla un modelo a escala de cuenca para el r\u00edo ter y el embalse de sau, incluyendo hidrolog\u00eda, temperatura del r\u00edo, y la concentraci\u00f3n de f\u00f3sforo total en el r\u00edo. los resultados han sido satisfactorios, y adem\u00e1s la implementaci\u00f3n del modelo ha servicio para testar herramientas modernas de calibraci\u00f3n de modelos complejos basadas en la estad\u00edstica bayesiana. Por otra parte, se han testado diferentes alternativas para la modelizaci\u00f3n de la temperatura del agua en un r\u00edo, y se ha investigado la posibilidad de utilizar datos de campo recogidos a
