Paz <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El aspecto de las estatuas de bronce expuestas al aire, mostrando colores diversos, ilustra el problema de su degradacion. El comportamiento de este tipo de obras expuestas al exterior se traduce en la formacion de diferentes especies quimicas sobre la superficie del metal. Con la finalidad de estudiar el mecanismo de corrosion, se intenta simular en el laboratorio distintas condiciones representativas del fenomeno de degradacion, asi, se patinan artificialmente probetas de bronce y se contaminan con dioxido de azufre, vapor de los acidos acetico y formico y cloruro de sodio, determinando los productos de corrosion resultantes con distintas tecnicas analiticas.
