Las estructuras objeto de la investigaci\u00f3n han sido marcos de hormig\u00f3n armado de los empleados en la construcci\u00f3n de carreteras y ferrocarriles principalmente como pasos inferiores y tambi\u00e9n como obras de drenaje, as\u00ed como en el \u00e1mbito urbano para el paso de peatones y ciclistas. Los m\u00e9todos de optimizaci\u00f3n empleados han sido tanto m\u00e9todos de b\u00fasqueda local como m\u00e9todos basados en poblaciones, como son: random walk (rw), descent local search (dls), simulated annealing (sa), threshold accepting (ta), genetic algorithms (ga) y memetic algorithms (ma). La estructura se define por un conjunto de variables y par\u00e1metros. El n\u00famero de variables empleado es de 50, que se pueden dividir en 3 geom\u00e9tricos, 3 tipos de hormig\u00f3n y 44 relativos a la armadura. En el modelo propuesto se ha tenido en cuenta la aplicaci\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica de la ejecuci\u00f3n, y as\u00ed, todas las armaduras se disponen a separaciones ejecutables en obra. La funci\u00f3n objetivo empleada incluye el coste del hormig\u00f3n y de acero, considerando la diferente dificultad de colocaci\u00f3n de las barras de mayor o menor di\u00e1metro, as\u00ed como el coste de los encofrados y cimbra. Los resultados obtenidos para un paso inferior concreto muestran que la selecci\u00f3n aleatoria de las variables no es una estrategia de optimizaci\u00f3n efectiva; el mejor coste por unidad de longitud es de 5206,107 \u00c2\u00bf. El dls mejora esta soluci\u00f3n alcanzando costes de 4722,301 \u00c2\u00bf, sin embargo este m\u00e9todo tiende a una convergencia prematura dado que no es capaz de escapar de m\u00ednimos locales de baja calidad. Ta y sa encuentran soluciones con coste de 4592,300 \u00c2\u00bf. Ga y ma se han aplicado tanto en m\u00e1quinas secuenciales como en sistemas de ordenadores en paralelo obteniendo con los ma el mejor result<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
