Llu\u00c1\u00afsa <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Esta tesis explora los or\u00edgenes de la pintura abstracta desde un punto de vista eminentemente conceptual, m\u00e1s que hist\u00f3rico. El punto de partida es la hip\u00f3tesis de que la abstracci\u00f3n se puede considerar la culminaci\u00f3n de los ideales est\u00e9ticos del simbolismo finisecular; y estudia particularmente uno de los elementos que conforman este ideario y que encuentra continuidad entre simbolistas y abstractos, que es el ideal de la obra de arte total o gesamtkunstwerk. En la tesis se estudia la obra de los pintores vassily kandinsky y piet mondrian, dos de los principales pioneros de la abstracci\u00f3n; a partir del an\u00e1lisis de sus respectivas obras y textos se muestra como para los dos el ideal de obra de arte total fue un leit-motiv fundamental para el desarrollo de sus respectivas obras pict\u00f3ricas desde la figuraci\u00f3n hasta la abstracci\u00f3n. En el caso de kandinsky se comentan espec\u00edficamente sus proyectos de composiciones esc\u00e9nicas, y en el de mondrian, los sucesivos arreglos a los que someti\u00f3 su estudio-vivienda; es en el marco de dichos proyectos que se desarroll\u00f3 la pintura de los dos autores.
