Adem\u00e1s, se ha caracterizado molecularmente uno de estos genes, gen fawrky, as\u00ed como el gen atwrky75 de a.Thaliana, ort\u00f3logo del gen de fresa.     mediante metodolog\u00eda ssh, se han construido 6 genotecas sustractivas de f.Ananassa de 3 cultivares diferentes con diferente grado de susceptibilidad a c.Acutatum: cv andana  y cv.Cart-2 (moderadamente susceptibles), y cv. Camarosa (muy susceptible).      a partir de estas genotecas se han aislado y purificado m\u00e1s de 15000 ests o fragmentos de adnc que se expresan diferencialmente en respuesta a la infecci\u00f3n por c.Acutatum o al tratamiento con elicitores de estr\u00e9s abi\u00f3tico.     a partir de una de las genotecas sustractivas se ha seleccionado una est cuya secuencia present\u00f3 altos valores de identidad y similitud con genes que codifican factores de transcripci\u00f3n tipo wrky de plantas superiores.  los resultados indican que el gen fawrky responde a la infecci\u00f3n aumentando su expresi\u00f3n, pero que la intensidad y el perfil de expresi\u00f3n del gen son dependientes de tejido y cultivar. Los resultados demuestran, as\u00ed mismo, que el gen fawrky responde activ\u00e1ndose a elicitores de respuesta a de defensa de las plantas.
