La finalidad de todo dise\u00f1o gr\u00e1fico es transmitir un mensaje de la forma m\u00e1s adecuada y, para conseguirlo, el dise\u00f1ador utiliza las im\u00e1genes y la tipograf\u00eda, esta \u00faltima en su doble funci\u00f3n, porque adem\u00e1s de su componente de comunicaci\u00f3n verbal, cada letra de una palabra es por si misma un elemento gr\u00e1fico. Giralt miracle es el primero en llevar esto a al pr\u00e1ctica en el panorama espa\u00f1ol. la influencia de los grandes tip\u00f3grafos le hace ser un estudioso de las formas de las letras, realizando un sus trabajos toda clase de composiciones y demostrando un dominio absoluto en la manera de comunicar.  este inter\u00e9s por la tipograf\u00eda, lo lleva a dise\u00f1ar varios alfabetos, entre los cuales cabe destacar el gaud\u00ed, el x\u00e9nius y el gaya ciencia. Por otro lado, ricard giralt miracle crea unas peque\u00f1as publicaciones, consideradas su obra maestra: las plaquettes, donde ya se hace patente su concepci\u00f3n integral del dise\u00f1o. De su producci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n es destacable los caleidoscopios, en los que hace coincidir la experimentaci\u00f3n pl\u00e1stica y los recursos tipogr\u00e1ficos.  adem\u00e1s, a trav\u00e9s del estudio de la obra de giralt miracle, esta tesis realiza un an\u00e1lisis del entorno que permite determinar qui\u00e9nes eran los principales referentes culturales en el \u00e1mbito gr\u00e1fico de
